Caring tips for Carpets!

Just take a moment to think about all the things that hide deep down in the fiber of your carpet: dust, dirt, allergens, bacteria, pet and human hair, grime, and whatever else makes its way via the occupants of your home. Want to ensure that your carpets are clean, rid of all those things? Here are 3 general tips to care of your carpets

1. Vacuum Regularly and Thoroughly once or twice a week
It is good to vacuum more often in heavy traffic areas to remove soil and dirt.

2. When you see spots or stain, treat them immediately
  • Blot up liquids with paper towel or absorbent cloth. Remove solids with the end of a knife or spoon.
  • Immediately wet a clean cotton towel with water (40 Degrees) wring it out and place over the stain. When the towel is saturated replace it with a fresh one.
  • Always work from the outer edge towards the center to prevent spreading
  • DO NOT use household cleaners, such as soft soap, neutral soap, ammonia solution, turpentine, benzene or spot removal agents which are only recommended for textiles
3. Deep cleaning is needed periodically to remove the deepest soil.

Use a reputable company and check references to have your carpet professionally cleaned.
